Kate Middleton wears a dove grey Roksanda Ilinic dress to attend a reception at the Royal Academy of Arts

KATE MIDDLETON

The Duchess of Cambridge already looked picture perfect in a preppy Smythe blazer and Stuart Weitzman wedges when she watched Prince William's cousin Zara Phillips compete at the equestrian events in Greenwich Park today, but she has just stepped out in an ultra glamorous dove grey dress by London Fashion Week designer Roksanda Ilinic to attend the UK's Creative Industries Reception this evening.

Earlier in the day the Duchess of Cambridge wore her hair loose in glossy curls, but for the reception this evening she's worn it up ion a messy bun showing off her beautiful earrings. This is the second time in the last week that Kate has favoured a designer from the London Fashion Week schedule to wear to a public event as you'll remember she wore Christopher Kane to the Olympics 2012 Opening Ceremony.

Hosted by the Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt MP at the Royal Academy of Arts, Kate joins the Prime Minister David Cameron, supermodel Lily Cole and Fashion East founder Lu ly Kennedy for the event which celebrates UK creativity. It will be attended by 800 people including figureheads from the creative industries. It sounds like Kate's got a lot of hands to shake this evening!
