It seems like years ago when we first heard that Madge would be unleashing her design skills onto the world, and now, at last they’ve arrived! Madonna’s Truth or Dare shoe collection will be landing in Selfridge’s ah-mazing shoe galleries on Monday, where they will be stocking it exclusively all summer long. We wonder if she’ll be wearing the Truth or Dare collection for her new tour, which gets to London’s Hyde Park the same week as the collection!
The shoes have been produced by high street footwear retailer Aldo while Madonna’s stylist, Arianne Phillips is the brand’s creative consultant. Helen Attwood, Buying Manager for shoes at Selfridges said of the Truth or Dare pop-up shop “We’re thrilled to launch this collection before anywhere else in the world – the line offers the perfect mix of commerciality, diversity and of course, Madonna’s stardust! It’s a great fit for Selfridges.”
And what do they look like we hear you say? They’re actually a little more elegant than we’d initially thought, and perhaps a little less dance-inspired as they were rumoured to be. Black and gold studded courts and chic suede Twidwell ankle boots are our favourite picks. The collection is available to buy online and in the London store from Monday 16th, prices ranging from £80 to £480.
